How-to Guide: Context Sustainability
We live in a fast-changing world. Businesses are increasingly buffeted by major economic, social and environmental trends. New issues are emerging all the time and companies must quickly embrace a different way of doing things to support the business, as well as society and the environment.
In November 2018, we hosted a Sustainability Strategy Masterclass, to discuss the latest sustainability concepts that companies need to consider when developing comprehensive sustainability strategies. We introduced a series of topics to encourage and enable companies to move from incremental to transformative change in their approach.
Among the concepts we discussed is Context Sustainability and how contextualisation is fundamental to addressing the critical question of whether a business and its activities are truly sustainable or not. Our How-to Guide explains the need for context-based strategies and targets, and suggests practical ways to leverage context-based approaches.
